The Uganda Chamber of Energy & Minerals (UCEM), in partnership with the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development (MEMD) and the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), is organizing the 11th Oil and Gas Convention 2026 (OGC). Taking place from 28th to 29th April 2026 , at the Speke Resort Munyonyo, Uganda. This event is the commercial launchpad for Uganda’s value-creation strategy, positioning the nation as an energy and industrial hub for East and Central Africa. The convention will be held under the theme: "First Oil: Fulfil the Promise, Forging the Future"
